Persons have been taking to their social media making posts about what they say is a fake Magnum Tonic Wine that has been in circulation for some time.
Consumers of the popular drink have noticed some slight difference with the bottling of the product and have made their observances known.
Sole distributor of Magnum Tonic Wine, ANSA McAL Trading Limited, through a press release, wishes to inform the general public that there is no fake Magnum Tonic Wine in circulation, and is calling on consumers of the product to refrain from spreading any further alarm.
Owner and exclusive manufacturer of Magnum Tonic Wine and the Magnum Tonic Wine brand, J. Wray & Nephew Limited, categorically denies the recent social media reports that there are counterfeit Magnum Tonic Wines in circulation.
J. Wray & Nephew Limited, in a press statement explained, “The Magnum Tonic Wine brand currently utilizes two bottles since 2010 in the packaging of the much loved product. Both bottles are identical, except for the embossing on the bottle which includes the numbers at the bottom. One bottle has no numbers at the bottom and the other has visible numbers that can be felt by touch. The liquid contained in both bottles are absolutely the same.”
