OVER 60 pounds of marijuana was seized by ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch during a search operation at an apartment building at Eccles Housing Scheme on Monday.
Reports indicate that the officers found the several parcels of compressed marijuana in a travelling bag in a bedroom occupied by a Jamaican and a Guyanese woman.
The duo were arrested, questioned and taken into custody. The compressed marijuana was weight and amounted to more over 27kgs.
