Hundreds attend APNU+AFC youth rally

APNU/AFC supporters were urged to stick with the coalition at a “Too Legit to Quit APNU+AFC Youth Rally”, the first of a series of rallies held at Parade Ground on Friday.
Despite a late start, hundreds of young and old “youths”, many decked out in their green and, or yellow outfits, heard inspirational messages from coalition government youth leaders in between thumping music sets.

The messages covered a range of issues from the lack of qualifications of “That man – Irfaan Ali”, and the opposition’s apparent disrespect for foisting such a candidate on voters versus President’s Granger’s authentic qualifications; youth empowerment via various government funded programmes; alleged buying of votes by the opposition; the need to get registered to vote; and the need for unity to continue Guyana’s development for all, regardless of race, colour or creed.
