A man, who was arrested by police at Bourda Market allegedly with three grams of cocaine in his possession was, on Friday, March 22, 2019, remanded to prison, when he appeared in court.
Dexter Klass made his appearance before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and denied the charge, when it was read to him.
Particulars of the charge alleged that Klass, on March 19, 2019, at Bourda Market, Georgetown, had three grams of cocaine in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police Prosecutor, Sanj Singh, objected to Klass being released on bail since the drugs were found in his pants pocket when he was searched by the police at Bourda Market. Magistrate Daly remanded Klass to prison until April 12, 2019.
