Head coach Michael Johnson started with Akel Clarke in goal, Kelsey Benjamin, Walter Moore, Gregory Richardson, Clive Nobrega, Trayon Bobb, Quincy Adams, Sheldon Holder and Sherwin Skeete.

Guyana found themselves down 0-3 at the end of the first half, but they were able to pull one back through Benjamin in the second stanza.
