POLICE commander of ‘E’ Division, Senior Superintendent Linden Lord, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, led a “Walkabout” in the Block 22, Wismar, Linden community.

Commander Lord was accompanied by other ranks and members of the Cops and Faith Community Network. Also present were: Community Relations Officer, Woman Assistant Superintendent P. Peters-Fernandes; Woman Inspector, V. Pinder-Whittaker; Town Clerk Ms. Obermuller and Pastor Clarke.

The ranks interacted with residents, who voiced several concerns and highlighted issues affecting them within the community; these were all addressed by the commander and his team.

Commander Lord in an effort to show appreciation to members of the community for their support of the Guyana Police Force, distributed two grocery hampers to two senior citizens of the community, Ms. Cheryl Henry age 67 years and Ms. Silvia Giles, age 69 years, who were thankful for the kind gesture.
