… EBSC to issue public apology

NATIONAL and West Indies Under-19 batsman Bhaskar Yadram, along with Enterprise A captain Rohan Mangal, is in hot water with the East Coast Cricket Committee following unbecoming behaviour during the presentation ceremony at the conclusion of the SPR Enterprise 40 overs tournament last December.

Both Yadram, one of the country’s promising young batsmen, and Mangal had allegedly acted in an unmannerly way, resulting in a disciplinary hearing from the committee.

Based on the recommendation from the disciplinary committee, Yadram is suspended for four ECCC-organised games while Mangal was suspended for three matches.

The bans will take effect after the Enterprise Busta Sports Club (EBSC) issues a public apology towards the sponsor and the ECCC.

The disciplinary committee made it clear that Enterprise A will only participate in further ECCC tournaments once the EBSC issue a public apology.
