POLICE are investigating the discovery of a new-born baby found floating in the De Willem koker, West Coast Demerara, on Saturday afternoon.

The police in a release said, the discovery was made by villagers. It was reported that the baby still had its umbilical cord attached and may have been dumped there for some time.
