THE Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation (GSFF) yesterday secured sponsorship from P&P Insurance Brokers & Consultants Limited for this weekend’s Steel Shoot challenge set for the Timehri Range.

The company yesterday handed over sponsorship to GSSF’s assistant secretary Andy Phang at their Lamaha Avenue office.

In prepared remarks, executive director of P&P Vikash Panday contended, “We have been doing this for quite a number of years. I know Vidushi, Ryan and we are happy to pledge our support to make this event a success and we hope that the event is carried out well.

“We have again dedicated our sponsorship and support to the tournament of the GSSF,” he added.

Meanwhile Phang, in receiving the cheque, contended that “the GSSF is always pleased to have P&P Insurance Brokers on board with this event.”

“They sponsored us in 2018 and years before that and we are more than grateful for their support in 2019. We hope to have a great event.”

He contended that corporate support, such as P&P gives, has ensured that the sport continues to function locally.
