THE lifeless body of a  44-year-old farmer of Bon Fin, Brazil, was found on a track in the open savannah at Moco Moco Village, Central Rupununi, on Boxing Day.

Police said Elvis Aulicio was found around 02:00hrs with wounds to his back and forehead.
An initial investigation revealed that the deceased was imbibing at a house in Moco Moco Village on Christmas Day and left about 22:00hrs. His body was taken to the Lethem Public Hospital mortuary.

A male has been detained for questioning.
