IN light of the passage of the no-confidence motion against the government last Friday, the Liberal and Justice Party (LJP) said it has decided to have a formal launch on January 12, 2019.

However, the party said it is yet to finalise the venue and time of the launch.
“We invite all to join us at our launch on January 12, 2019, and join us in this new political movement as we engage more responsibly and representatively in ‘Shaping Guyana’s Future.’ Have a safe, happy, peaceful, and reflective Christmas season,” the party said in a statement. The party will be headed by Indigenous Peoples’ advocate Lenox Shuman.
