Drinking spree leaves one dead

SHOCK waves permeated the peaceful farming community of West Watooka, Linden, after news spread of the untimely murder of its young resident Leonard Peters called “Lenny” who resided at 29 West Watooka, Wismar, Linden.

Peters met his demise a few moments after being rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex (LHC) after being stabbed to the left side of his chest.

According to police reports, Peters was allegedly stabbed by his two associates commonly known as “Giddie” and “Gaza” who are brothers, ages 19 and 23 respectively. According to commander of ‘E’ Division, Linden Lord, the suspects were arrested and subsequently confessed to the murder. They then took the police back to the Lot 6 West Watooka home, where the murder, occurred and handed over the murder weapon which has been lodged at the station and taken as evidence.

They remain in custody, assisting with investigations.
The brothers, in a confession, related that a misunderstanding occurred while they were partying and Peters accidently spilled his alcohol on Gaza. He allegedly became irritated and started a physical altercation with Peters. His brother came to his defence and Peters was eventually stabbed to the chest. Friends of Peters described him as a popular, hardworking and outgoing personality.
