GUNSHOTS rang out at Agricola, East Bank Demerara on Thursday morning and when the shooting subsided, Kacey Da Silva, also known as “Presser,” laid dead.

Reports are that Da Silva, of New Market Street, Georgetown, was gunned down by unknown persons at around 09:30hrs at Second Street, Agricola.

While details are sketchy, reports are that another man was injured during the gunfire and he was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where he remains hospitalised.
Police are investigating the matter.
