COMFORT SLEEP, Guyana’s leading manufacturer of foam and spring-filled mattresses has hit the market with a new line, under the brand name: “Comfort Classic Deluxe Mattresses.”

The product which boasts a built-in touch of elegance and comes in standard, king and queen sizes, was launched on Thursday, at the opening of the three-day Guyana Trade and Investment Exhibition (GuyTIE), held at the Marriott Hotel in Kingston Georgetown.

GuyTIE, ideally presents a platform for local businesses to engage and network with Caribbean and international investors, and according to President David Granger, could enhance the investment image as an investor-friendly state; improve competitiveness for large, small and medium enterprises, thereby positioning Guyana and the Caribbean to be competitive in the global marketplace.

According to COMFORT SLEEP’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dennis Charran, the response has been good, with a few sister-Caribbean countries showing an interest in the product. The entity can, therefore, be said to be poised to clinch deals with such countries in the not- so-distant future.

New to the Guyana market, the ‘Comfort Classic Deluxe Mattresses are made of a high quality, 1.5 high-density foam with a fabric life of 10 years. It is durable, soft and comfortable, yet firm, says Charran, and is made from quality USA standard imported materials.

An expert in the production of mattresses for the last 25 years, he said that firmness is a key factor in a high-quality mattress. These mattresses, Charran says, are at the moment, only available at the Comfort Sleep factory at Eccles, East Bank Demerara.

The ‘Comfort Classic Deluxe Mattress’ now brings to eight, the line of mattresses produced by this manufacturing entity. Four of the initial seven are spring-filled and the other four are made of foam.

Meanwhile, the CEO announced that there will be a promotion special for GuyTIE:
He said that there will be a two-week promotion on the new line of mattress, whereby anyone can purchase the product at a GuyTIE Special /discount price. Promotion ends on Friday, October 5, 2018. Free delivery will be provided for destinations within the Georgetown area during the promotion period.

Over 25 years, COMFORT SLEEP has become a household name and by this token, Charran says, the entity is committed to manufacturing and delivering only the best in quality. And testament to this, is the fact that the entity has so far won two international awards – for quality manufacturing: One from Geneva, Switzerland and the other from a US company.
A good corporate citizen, Comfort Sleep has been conducting Schools’ Feeding Programmes for six schools, providing hot meals for children of West Demerara and Berbice, while making other contributions to the Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Programme and the Ruimveldt Children’s Home.

Charran expressed gratitude to Minister of Business, Dominic Gaskin; the GuyTIE Committee for an excellent expo and to all others – exhibitors alike and buyers, for their part played in making the forum a success.
