– Seven races, over $10M in cash up for grabs on Sept 30

THE Caribbean Nations Group in collaboration with the Rising Sun Turf Club will stage a seven-race card meet on September 30, at the club’s racing facility situated on the West Coast Berbice.

The event will begin at 13:00hrs and has at stake over $10M in prize money and incentives on offer.

The day’s activity is being sponsored by Top Brandz under its Bud Light, Corona and Budweiser brand.

The feature event is open to Guyana bred horses, including mares and fillies, over a distance of five and one half furlongs. The winner will receive $1M, while the other top three performers will earn $500,000, $250,000 and $125,000 respectively.

The other events on the day’s card are; an `E’ Class and lower eight-furlong race that carries a first prize of $500,000; a J3’ and lower race seven-furlong race that has a first prize of $350,000, a `I and lower seven-furlong event with a winning prize worth $300,000; a five and one half furlong race for horses classified `L and lower with a first prize of $250,000, a four-furlong race Guyana bred two-year-old horses that has on offer a first prize of $200,000; and a `L and lower five and one half furlong race for `L non winners for 2018 and this race has a first prize of $100,000.
