FRUTA Conquerors FC registered a comfortable 2-0 victory over Linden side Milerock FC while Victoria Kings were held to a 0-0 draw with New Amsterdam United FC when action continued on Friday evening in the Guyana Football Federation’s (GFF) Elite League season III.
Playing at the Guyana Football Club (GFC) ground, Fruta Conquerors faced Milerock FC and required two first half goals to ease to a comfortable victory. Elder statesman Anthony ‘Awo’ Abrams netted for the victors in the ninth minute before Domini Garrett doubled their lead in the 45th minute on the stroke of halftime.
Earlier in the night, Victoria clashed with NA United and they played out to a tame draw to walk away with a point each.
The action continued last evening at the same venue with NA United facing Western Tigers in the first game while GDF clashed with Buxton United.
