STUDENTS of the Marian Academy were the beneficiaries of a wealth of information about the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) and the many career opportunities available.
The information was disseminated through a career talk facilitated on Monday by the school’s administration.

Public Affairs Officer, Major Earl Edghill represented the GDF and in a highly interactive session, made the students aware of the role of the Force as well as the many opportunities available to its members.

The Guyana Defence Force’s partnership with educational institutions is in keeping with the Force’s remit to contribute to National Development, by aiding youths to gain the much-needed knowledge if they were to make the military their choice of career.
