Major men’s conference on Wednesday

THE First Assembly of God, Wortmanville, will be hosting its annual Men’s Conference under the theme “The Purpose Driven Man” from Wednesday.

Commencing at 18:00hrs nightly at First Assembly of God, Wortmanville, L&P Durban Street, Georgetown, the conference is expected to attract men from across the country.
In a press statement, the church said on the final night, participants will assemble at the corners of Durban Street and Louisa Row for the signature event – Man Talk — where various critical issues affecting men will be discussed.

“Over the past five years, God has spoken profoundly to men at this conference through His servant Reverend, Dr. Murtland Raphael Massiah, CCH. Reverend Massiah is senior pastor of First Assembly of God, Wortmanville, and he is the assistant general bishop of the Assemblies of God in Guyana,” it was explained.

Reverend Massiah also serves as chairman of the Guyana Post Office Corporation and the Fallen Heroes Foundation. He is a man of the soil and has dedicated his life over the years to serving the people of this nation and consistently seeks the empowerment of men and young people.

Men desirous of attending the conference are asked to register at the church. The fee is $1,000. The church office can be contacted on 225-9015.
‘The Man Talk’ event is free and men are encouraged to make every effort to attend the first two nights.

“An invitation is extended to all men to be part of one of the nation’s most anticipated events where men of all creeds and denomination assemble to engage each other and be strengthened in matters relating to manhood. Come out and let us reason together on what it means to be a ‘Purpose Driven Man’,” the church urged.
