GCB donates brush cutter to WDCA

IN efforts to promote and contribute to cricket development in Guyana, the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) continued its growth initiative in upgrading ground facilities.

In this regard, the West Demerara Cricket Association (WDCA) became the latest beneficiary of a Honda brush cutter.

Coach Dhanpaul, who received the brush cutter from TDO Admin Assistant, Kavita Yadram, was high in praise of the GCB, pointing out that the association had for some time now, been in need of such equipment.

He said that the players and executive members would be elated and will be looking forward to making full use of the cutter.
Dhanpaul thanked the GCB for the donation, which would assist them greatly in grooming the club’s facility.

The improvement of the facility will promote the hosting of more quality matches in the West Demerara area, and as a consequence will be of great benefit to players, as well as those from neighbouring communities.
