Exxon and partners visit Banks DIH

REPRESENTATIVES of Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited (EEPGL), an affiliate of U.S. oil-and-gas giant, ExxonMobil met with the hierarchy of Banks DIH Limited and its subsidiary company, Citizens Bank Guyana Inc., on May 28, 2018 for a tour and “mutual discussions”.

According to a statement issued by the local beverage company on Friday, the EEPGL delegation, headed by ExxonMobil’s Country Manager Rod Henson, met with the Chairman and Executive Directors of Banks DIH Limited and Citizens Bank. Henson was joined by Director of Government Affairs, Carlton James.

The Banks DIH Limited team included its Chairman, Clifford Reis, Chairman/Managing Director; George McDonald, Co-Managing Director/Marketing Director; Michael Pereira, Operations Director; Mohamed Shabir Hussein, Engineering Services Director; and Eton Chester, Managing Director of Citizens Bank Guyana Inc.

Monday’s meeting was preceded by a tour of the Thirst Park operations, followed by “a Luncheon meeting at which matters of mutual interest were discussed”.
According to the statement, EEPGL’s representatives “expressed great satisfaction with both the tour and the mutual discussions with the management team of the Company and thanked the Chairman and Directors for hosting the EPPGL delegation.”
