THE Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPLF) will host their Intermediate/ Masters Championship 2018 on Sunday (May 13) at St. Stanislaus College, starting with Flight A at 9:00hrs. The participating athletes are required to be at the venue for weigh-in at 7:00hrs.

One of Guyana’s oldest powerlifter, Narianjan Singh will be competing among the Masters, alongside Noel Cummings, Collin Chesney, Jacky Toney, Nadina Taharally and others.

Buddy’s Gym has made a great contribution to the upcoming event and aside from that, has been able to support some of the athletes of the upcoming competition by providing free membership to national athletes.

Martin Webster, committee member of the GAPLF, received contributions on behalf of the GAPLF from Mr. Crush Pharbo, the manager of the business entity.

Registration for this event closes today at 18hrs. The registration forms and monies can be submitted to Webster. Athletes who want to participate can fill out the registration form

and make the payment to the federation’s Republic Bank account #6552194 and send images of both the registration form and deposit slip.
The admission fee for the event is $500.00.
