AN electrician appeared Wednesday before Magistrate Fabayo Azore on a robbery charge.
The allegation is that on April 25, 2018, Philbert McPherson robbed Jagdeo Ramnauth of a Samsung Galaxy phone valued $160,000, one black leather wallet valued $15,000 and $ 50,000 in cash.

The 33-year-old man denied the charge that was read to him in court.
The prosecutor objected to bail due to the seriousness of the offence.

Bail was refused and the accused was remanded to prison. The matter was adjourned to May 30, 2018.
