Dear Editor
THE decision by a state corporation to pay its pensioners through the commerical banks should not be viewed as treating them with less respect and dignity.
The decision may be an inconvenience or even disadvantageous or even a nuisance, but certainly, I am sure no disrespect or indignity was intended. And just for the record, these same persons are they not in receipt of the government’s Old Age Pension? Don’t they have to be in possession of documents to sign up to access same?
I am sure some even have to go distances to collect this benefit.
