A 34-year-old labourer of ‘B’ Field, Sophia, is in police custody after he was nabbed with a .38 Starr pistol by the Police Anti-Crime Unit patrol on Thursday morning.

The man was on Leopold and Hadfield Street, Georgetown, around 02:00h when the arrest was made. The police said in a statement that the suspect was in a Toyota Premio motorcar, when he was intercepted. An investigation is ongoing.
