THE Good Hope Bridge, East Coast Demerara (ECD) has been reopened to traffic Saturday after being closed for almost three weeks for repairs.

According to the Ministry of Public Infrastructure’s Road & Maintenance Engineer, Sherod Parkinson, the bridge is now 95 per cent completed with a few minor works left to be done.

The contract for the project was awarded to BK International at a cost of $23.5M.
