…Team Mohamed’s Goliath steals show

NOT even the inclement weather could rain on the parade of team Mohamed’s Enterprise ‘Goliath’ GTR who clobbered the competition in yesterday’s second King of the Strip Drag race meet.

‘Goliath’, Guyana’s current strip record-holder reset its own record against the competition from Trinidad and Tobago, bettering its 7.55 second time by three-hundreds of a second.
Goliath’s driver, Terrence Cox was no games as he launched his way to victory, beating Trinidad’s Andy Bissesar and his rail car in a close contest which finished just a hundredth of a second apart.

In the end, the Guyanese did well to hold off both their Surinamese and Trinidadian counterparts in the event which was sponsored by Tropical Shipping, Mohamed’s Enterprise, STAG, JAPARTS, BM Soat Auto Sales, Prem’s Electrical and Trans Pacific Auto Sales and Spares
