BANKS DIH Limited Chairman and Managing Director, Clifford Reis, has been honoured for his unwavering support to the Private Sector Commission Corporate Group over the past 20 years.

In a release the PSC said Mr Reis was presented with a plaque by Executive Director of the PSC, Ms Elizabeth Alleyne, during a Corporate Dinner, hosted by Banks DIH Limited at the Rotunda at Thirst Park recently.

Ms Alleyne said Mr Reis has been a loyal supporter of the work of the private sector locally and the PSC has recognised his sterling contribution. The veteran business executive has been responsible for the stewardship of local bottling giant Banks DIH Limited for the past 29 years as Chairman/Managing Director.

He is also Chairman of Citizens Bank Guyana Inc.
Mr Reis expressed gratitude to the Private Sector Commission for recognising his service to Guyana and he stressed the need for the private sector and government to work together.
The Guest of Honour at the Dinner was Mr Joseph Harmon, Minister of State in the Ministry of the Presidency. Other attendees were corporate members of the PSC.
