A MALE and female driver from the Essequibo Coast are patients at the Suddie Public Hospital following a vehicular collision on the Pomona Public Road around 17:00 hrs on Saturday.
According to information reaching the Guyana Chronicle, the female driver Shivanie Singh was going home from work when a speeding BMW car overtook several vehicles and collided with hers.
“We heard the impact, he was speeding and he was drinking, several beer bottles were in the vehicle at the time,” one eyewitness from Pomona related.
The father of Shivanie Singh, Jadoo Singh, said his daughter was heading to Middlesex when the collision occurred.

Police are investigating the accident.
