AS part of fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, SOL Guyana Inc. conducted yet another maintenance exercise at the manatee pond at the Zoological Park and Botanical Gardens in Georgetown.

A team of managers and employees from the regional petroleum company which has a local office at Lot BB Agricola, East Bank Demerara, visited the Zoological Gardens between 9:00 am and 12:00 hours on Saturday. They cleaned and painted the manatee pond and its surrounding areas.

General Manager of Sol Guyana Inc., Liz Wyatt, said the company will continue to provide support to Guyana Marine Conservation Society and the Manatee Holding Pond at the Botanical Gardens, since it provides a vital link between Sol and the Guyanese public.
