THE annual Edward ‘Screw’ Richmond Memorial Linden Schools Under-18 football tournament is set to be launched on Wednesday at the YMCA building in Retrieve, Linden.

Players interested in this year’s schools tournament must be born on or after January1, 2000.

The schools that will be contesting are Christianburg/Wismar Secondary (Multi), Mackenzie High, New Silver City Secondary, Harmony Secondary, Wisburg Secondary, Linden Foundation Secondary, Linden Technical Institute and the Private Combined.
The tournament will be a two-group round-robin format championship before it goes into the semifinals and finals and will begin on March 12. The final is set for April 18.

The two venues named for the tournament are the Wisburg Secondary School and the Mackenzie sports Club grounds.
