THERE were big wins for Buxton Youth Developers and Queenstown Secondary as the Milo Schools Football tournament continued in Georgetown.
Buxton mauled South Ruimveldt 5-0 at the Ministry of Education ground with a hat-trick from Shamar Kingston in the 15th, 25th and 32nd minutes, while Shamar Singh added the other two in the 24th and 42nd.
Queenstown on the other hand registered a 4-1 win over St George’s Secondary with a pair of braces from Joseph Hickenson (11th and 17th) and Carl Chisholm (30th and 54th).
The only response from St George’s came from Stephan Daniels 48th minute strike.
In what should have been the opening game of the day, Friendship secondary won via walk-over against Carmel secondary while Masters Academy disrupted the usual workflow of Lodge Secondary with a 2-1 win.
Calvin Peters 40th minute strike coupled with an own-goal in the 50th ensured that Masters continued their winning ways with Nicholas Trotman scoring Lodge’s goal.
