THE Pouderoyen Football Club over the weekend was the beneficiary of several pieces of equipment ahead of the 2018 season.

The presentation of the new gear, which consisted of balls, boots and other football articles, was done via a brief ceremony at the West Demerara Secondary School.

Among the donors and well-wishers were several former players. They included Ron Austin, Zevon Atkinson, Addassffi Skeete, Kellon Belgrave, Club president Delyon Josiah, Carlotta Retemyer and Anton Peterson.

In collecting the gear, vice-captain Cleveland Walcott stated that his side is thankful for the items received and will use them to continue the side’s progress.
