The Administration of Region Five (Mahaica/Berbice) will launch its programme for Mashramani 2018 with an Exhibition and Cultural Evening at Park Square Fun City, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara at 14:00hrs. The event will feature the products and services of nail technicians, caterers, florists, hair dressers, and other businessmen and women in Region Five.
A cultural evening will be held from 19:00 hrs with cultural performances from the National Dance Company, artistes of the Moraikobai Village Council, renditions from the National Steel Orchestra and the Mahaicony Secondary School Steel Band Group and other cultural artistes.Music will be provided by the popular Junglist Sounds with DJ Slaughta in command
The cultural evening will also see a guest appearance by Miss Moraikibai 2017 Ms Annastacia Harripersaud.
The event will also feature a Department of Health Booth manned by staffers of the health care services in the Region which will be giving free medical services to those who attend and care to access those services..
And there will also be free giveaways of complimentary tickets to another grand event to be announced later, also be held in Mahaicony..
