THOUGH not a part of ‘Mash’ this year, cellular service provider, Digicel on Monday launched their ‘Mash Fitness Camp’ at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Ground.

Vidya Sanichara, the company’s Public Relations Officer stated that the event has been one of the most anticipated on their calendar since its existence, and despite not participating in the ‘Mash’ activities this year, hosting the fitness exercise was something they had to do.

Sanichara explained that they had catered for 300 participants, but they were overwhelmed with the response on the first day.

The scores of fitness-crazy enthusiasts who are all looking to ‘get in shape’ for the February 23 Republic Day celebrations will be taken through the daily paces by local Soca star, ‘Vanilla’, who also happens to be a fitness instructor.
