As part of their appreciation for the services provided by the Marriott Hotel, the Guyana Amazon Warriors franchise presented the hotel with an autographed bat on Thursday afternoon.

The simple presentation ceremony took place in the lobby of the hotel, where Team Operations Manager of the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Omar Khan, presented the bat to Director of Sales of the Marriott Hotel Guyana, Davie Leona Sukdeo, in the presence of several staff members.
The bat bears the signatures of all the Guyana Amazon Warriors players who were part of the franchise during the Hero Caribbean Premier League 2017.
Khan said “We’ve been doing it year after year, showing appreciation to all the people who supported us throughout the tournament, and the Marriott Hotel has been one of those”.
Sukdeo said, “At the Marriott Hotel we’re always ready and willing to host the Amazon Warriors team; we’ve been doing so for the last three years and our staff and everyone gets excited when there is CPL coming up, so we’re equally as delighted to receive this bat that you’ve given us for three years in a row. It’s going to be an addition to what we have in our glass case and we continue to look forward to a partnership with CPL and the Amazon Warriors.”
