THE police have issued a wanted bulletin for Delvor Bunbury in connection with trafficking in narcotics on September 11.

The 28-year-old’s last known address is Lot 37 Victoria Road, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara.

Last March, Bunbury was among a trio who was remanded to prison for trafficking 588 grams of cocaine. He and Gavin Harris were accused of giving a bag containing narcotics to former police rank Louie Dublin.

The charge read that Bunbury and Gavin Harris on March 17 at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport both had in their possession 588 grams of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Bunbury and Harris, 25, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The former police rank, Dublin, 21, also pleaded not guilty to cocaine possession.

Facts presented by Police Prosecutor Sanj Singh stated that on the day in question, members of the police force carried out a sting operation at the Lotus Restaurant and Bar which is located at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.

Dublin was searched and the cocaine was found in his possession.

Singh further stated that when Dublin was arrested, he gave the police a caution statement, saying he was given the bag by two individuals whom he named as Devon Bunbury and Gavin Harris and apologised for having the substance in his possession.

Dublin was later arrested and charged for the offence.
