FOLLOWING the first round of play in the Jaguars Franchise League 3-day competition, the Essequibo Franchise emerged as tournament leaders, with point standings of 17.2 points.
They are closely followed by Upper Demerara/East Bank, with 16.5 along with Upper Corentyne on 15.8 points.
Meanwhile, the second round of matches commences today, and will witness Upper Corentyne facing East Coast at Port Mourant, Georgetown competing against Lower Corentyne at Lusignan, West Berbice taking on Essequibo at Bush Lot and East Bank going up against West Demerara at Eve Leary.
