MASSY Guyana Group of Companies presented bursaries to 24 children of employees who were successful at the recent National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) during a presentation ceremony held Thursday at the Massy Staff Facility, Ruimveldt.

In a release, the company said Deo Persaud, Chairman of the Massy Guyana Group of Companies, congratulated the children and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their future educational endeavours. “We at Massy Group applaud your success and encourage you to continue to strive for excellence. Look ahead with enthusiasm as you start this new stage of your educational career, “he told the awardees.

Mr. Persaud cautioned the children to stay focused and avoid spending too much time on negative things such as computer games. “Remember your future is in your book bag,” he declared.
Also in attendance were senior executives, including directors Rohit Coonjah and Gobardhan Resaul, and parents of the awardees.

The bursary recipients are: Jaden Coonjah, Nyayakumari Ramroop, Vadeanand Resaul, Joel Fraser, Tejnarine Persaud, Emily Singh, Shivraj Persaud, Akeem Henry, Raquena France, Aron Spellen, Janya Clementson, Jelicia Vancooten, Taliana Belgrave, Denzel Morgan, Jamacia Nero, Tiffany Roberts, Areiana George, Martin Edwards, Hamani Paul, Alvin Seebarratt, Paul Mohan, Nathaniel Stewart, Raoul Khan and Joshua Vieira.
