Calling all Warriors
THERE was no shortage of entertainment yesterday as thousands of supporters of the Guyana Amazon Warriors turned out in their numbers to cheer on the local boys in the crucial Caribbean Premier League cricket match against the Trinbago Knight Riders at the Providence Stadium, East Bank Demerara. However, it was another losing effort. Above, a die-hard fan raises the Golden Arrowhead to the very end, hoping that his show of patriotism might trigger a rearguard effort by the home side. It didn’t happen.
