A search of the Camp Street Prison uncovered contraband Tuesday morning that included cell phones, cannabis, sim cards, lighters, razor blades and improvised weapons.
Prison Director Gladwin Samuels said a joint operation was carried out at the Georgetown prison where the entire brick prison was searched.
He noted that continuous searches will be done in all prisons to ensure security is paramount.
