CABINET has directed that the reports and reviews of operations of the Guyana Lottery Committee (GLC) and Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) be handed over to the Commissioner of Police for investigations.
On Tuesday, Minister within the Ministry of Finance,Jaipaul Sharma handed over the forensic audit reports and reviews to Cabinet.
The reports focus on the operations of the GLC for the period of November 1, 2011 to May 31, 2015, while that of the CHPA focuses on the period of January 1, 2012 to May 31, 2015.
Cabinet instructed that both reports be sent to the Guyana Police Force to determine whether there is any criminal culpability.
