9 months jail for Mason who stole jewelry

A MASON was sentenced to nine months imprisonment on Wednesday after being convicted for simple larceny by City Magistrate Dylon Bess.

Eon Murray, 30, of West La Penitence, Georgetown was found guilty of the charge, which read that on December 26, 2016, at Castello Housing Scheme, Georgetown, he stole two gold chains valued $115,000, two gold rings worth $ 120,000 and one gold and silver band worth $15,000, property of Shawn Solomon.

Murray was unrepresented during the trial and the matter was prosecuted by Lance Corporal, Christopher Morris.
