Some questions for Harry Gill

Dear Editor,

PLEASE allow me to reply to an article in the letters column in the Sunday Kaieteur News dated May 7, 2017, under the caption, “This Regional Councillor was dismissed from Gov’t services and charged.”

MP Gill seems to be very upset after I said in an article that was published in the newspapers that he was chosen as an MP from the left-over votes.  It is the truth Harry Gill, the scraped-up votes are what got you into Parliament. If that is not the truth, then I am willing to publicly apologise to you.

Mr. Gill seems to be so upset that he did not deal with the contents of my letter which were important, but went on to lash out and attack me personally.  Well, Mr. Gill, I am not surprised because I know that people like you do not want to hear the truth and moreover, you know that I am a threat to the PPP by speaking out and representing the people no matter their race or political affiliations.

I will now ask you a few questions:  why is it that if Guyana is so economically bad, you still came back here to live? What are the contributions you have made to develop Region Five? Why you had to run from the country you so love to come here? Why is it that you do not visit communities in Region Five to listen to the residents? Why is it that you are always against development?

Mr. Gill, we all know that you do what you like best and that is why you were chosen as an MP with the leftover votes above many others who struggled for your party.
I would like to educate this MP that Ms. Wade was chosen as the APNU+AFC Regional Representative in Parliament because in this region the coalition won only one seat in Parliament. MP Wade is making us proud as our regional representative, because she does not take false news to anyone and she visits all villages in the region, not some.

Regards
Abel Seetaram
