GUYANA’s Elite Referee, Kevin Stephens, will officiate in the CONCACAF U-17 Playoff between Mexico and the United States today, following a shortlisting of match officials after the quarter finals of the competition.

Head of the Guyana Football Federation’s(GFF) Refereeing Department, Stanley Lancaster expressed his delight in this achievement for the young referee: “Kevin is a very diligent and disciplined person who has always demonstrated that he is a high-achiever. This international exposure will serve him well as well as that of the national referees’ programme. The investment made is paying dividends.”
