THREE female referee/judges from the Caribbean and North America will be in Guyana shortly to officiate in the second edition of the Caribbean Schoolboys and Juniors boxing

Championships.
The three officials hail from St Lucia, the United States of America and the Cayman Islands. On Tuesday afternoon AIBA One Star,Julie Bonnet,will arrive from St Lucia.
Bonnet just finished rubbing shoulders with fellow One Star Guyanese Richard Braithwaite and Ramona Agard at the recently concluded OECS Championships in St Lucia.
The St Lucian would be joined later in the week by Kelly Pope from the United States and Leyla Jackson, an Attorney-at-Law from the Cayman Islands,Guyana Boxing Association president Steve Ninvalle confirmed yesterday.
While here, the three females will team-up with two Trinidadians and several Guyanese officials. AIBA Three Star referee James Beckles is scheduled to be in Guyana on Tuesday and will commence a three-day seminar the same day.
The Schoolboys and Juniors Championship will kick off this Friday at the National Gymnasium and conclude on Sunday.
Six countries including Guyana have registered to participate. Suriname, St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Barbados make up the group.
