TOP local cyclists will compete today in the Berbice Chamber of Commerce and Development Association Arrival Day cycle road race.
The event, which is been held in collaboration with the Trojan PSL Cycling Club of New Amsterdam, will commence at 09:00hrs at 12 Chapel Street, New Amsterdam, proceed to the Nand Persaud business complex at No. 39 Village, Corentyne, Berbice before returning to finish at the starting line.
The event will comprise of five categories, namely; the Senior Open, Junior Open, Veterans, Women and Juvenile.
Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the first three winners in each category.
