ECCCC anniversary T20 festival billed for April 30

THE Enmore Community Centre Cricket Club (ECCCC) will be hosting several T20 cricket matches as part of its anniversary celebration on Sunday April 30 at the Enmore Community Centre Ground, East Coast Demerara. Several past and present national players are expected to showcase their T20 skills in what promises to be an action-packed day.
For the first time at this venue, hardball cricket will be played under artificial lights with 2016 T20 champions, Strathavon SC, ECCCC, Everest CC and East Coast Combined competing for the Lakeram Ramkelawan Memorial Cup and cash prizes.

Players expected to highlight this event are Chatterpaul Hemraj, Sheik Mohamed, Imran Hassan,Shaheed Mohamed, Rohan Sarjoo,Eon Abel and others.
The first game will commence at 09:30hrs, with the final being played under floodlights. Popular music system,along with food and drink bar will also be available.
Meanwhile, activities will conclude on May 1 with the Enmore annual inter-block softball competition.

Both events are sponsored by Rajin Auto Paint, Nexa Autocolour, R.Kissoon Construction Service, Motor Trend Auto Spares and Repairs, Radesh Furniture Establishment, D&E Tent Rental and Navindra Latchman, Cone Zone, Banks DIH and Young Takers Sound System.
All funds will go towards the ECCCC cricket programme for 2017.Admission to the venue is free.
