USACA crush GCA XI by 129 runs in final match

A GEORGETOWN Cricket Association (GCA) XI received a thrashing from the USASA’s U-17s in the final match of their tour of Guyana yesterday, at Georgetown Cricket Club Bourda.
Batting first, the USACA team made 200-7 in their allotted 50 overs; their scorer-in-chief being Sijejah Nukkamella who was eventually run- out for 60.
He gained valuable assistance from Adrian Hinds who slammed 34, Pradeep Ravi 23 and Issah Jaggernauth 19 (not out)

In response, the GCA XI were rooted out for 72 in 18.5 overs. Twan Hicks’ 20 not out was the highest total of that innings while 12-year-old Mahindra Dindayal was the only other batsman to get into double figures with 11.
This was due chiefly in part to AS Khangura who bagged 4-32 in his spell with Ravi copping 3-16 and Aditya Sharma 2-4
The touring USACA U-17s, hosted by the GCA, lost on Wednesday under lights and Thursday against TSC but won on Good Friday in a match against Imam Bacchus’ U-17s on the Essequibo Coast.
