THE body of an unidentified East Indian male was found lying face up and motionless at the corner of Camp Street and North Road, Georgetown,on Friday in the wee hours of the morning.
The body was found on the eastern side of Camp Street.
The man was clad in a blue jeans, burgundy jersey and black cap. Reports indicate that his head was pointing south and feet in the opposite direction.
The body was discovered by an MMC security guard who was on patrol duty when he saw the body lying motionless.
He promptly called in the police. The body was checked for marks of violence and a cut was seen at the back of his head after the cap was removed. Police said no foul play was suspected. The body is at the Lyken Funeral home awaiting a post- mortem.
