TWO farmers aged 30 and 54 years, respectively, of Fair View Village, Kurupukari, Region Nine, were on Friday morning arrested with an unlicensed shotgun and two cartridges.
Police ranks acting on information went to Kurupukari Crossing about 10:00hrs and conducted a search in a wooden boat in which the duo was and found the illegal 12- gauge single-barrel shotgun and two matching cartridges, a release stated. Thus far for the year the police in ‘F’ Division (Interior Locations) have recovered fifteen illegal firearms.
